The United States to host Two Water Events

* September 5th-8th, 2006: The Ohio State University will host the “Floodplains, Riparian Zones, and Buffer Strips Workshop: Key Components to Aquatic Life Use Attainment and Self-Sustaining Stream Systems”. This event, centred around the theme "Celebrating 50 Years and Beyond", will include 1 day of technical tours; 1 day of presentations and panel discussions by recognized experts in the field of soil and water conservation and stream restoration; and two days for technical workshops. >> More

* September 10th-13th, 2006: The WateReuse Association, the Water Environment Federation, and the American Water Works Association organize the 21st Annual WateReuse Symposium to be held in Hollywood, California. This symposium will focus on both water reuse and desalination as alternative sources in today’s water-scarce world. Technical sessions will be devoted to diverse topics such as micropollutants, desalination, indirect potable reuse, operational issues, and global water reuse. >> More
