PC Advisor - Gates in Paris Meeting with UNESCO:
Bill Gates' trip to Paris in mid-November, involved a meeting with President Jacques Chirac, with whom he discussed the digital divide, the work of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and other development issues, according to presidential aides. Soon after, at a meeting with Koichiro Matsuura, the director general of UNESCO, Gates signed a deal committing Microsoft to work with Unesco on projects to improve IT education in the developing world.
