Americans for UNESCO: Prospects & Retrospects

Americans for UNESCO: Prospects & Retrospects

The association has existed for 19 years, under the inspiration and direction of Jack Fobes, with the name of “Americans for the Universality of Unesco”. Since re-entry of the United States into UNESCO, the group has adopted its new name. Recently, Americans for UNESCO has started a magazine called “Prospects & Retrospects”. In the first edition, AmUNESCOPresident Richard T. Arndt states that a new phase has started for Americans for Unesco dedicated to rebuilding Unesco's US constituency and enhancing the quality of US participation in the world's most complex multilateral organization.……Prospects will look more deeply into the issues, past and present, which make the US-Unesco dialogue so vital yet so fragile.
