UNESCO - Launch of Israeli-Palestinian Science Organization:
On World Science Day for Peace and Development (November 15), a meeting was held for the launch of the Israeli-Palestinian Science Organization (IPSO) at UNESCO Headquarters with the participation of several Nobel laureates. The aim of the Israeli-Palestinian Science Organization is to promote scientific cooperation for peace in the Middle East by bringing together the skills and expertise of Israeli and Palestinian scientists.
